The Gorch-Fock-Haus is located above the Fischmarkt in a 7000 sqm large park, in front of the impressive scenery of Hamburg's harbour with its cranes, launches and ships from all over the world. In close vicinity to the Gorch-Fock-Haus you can find the newly built Elbpromenade with its restaurants, hip and popular bars, and architectural highlights.
Within a few minutes you can reach the rapid transit station Königsstrasse, harbour ferries, stores and supermarkets, the railway station Altona and the Reeperbahn, Hamburgs famous amusement street.
As a visitor of the Gorch-Fock-Haus you have access to the roof terrace on the twenty-second floor, which offers a sensational all-around-look at Hamburg. You can also walk down the River Elbe on the Elbwanderweg, that starts here on its way like a green ribbon up to Schleswig-Holstein.
The apartment is on the ground floor. Due to the hillside situation of the house the apartment is at a height of ten metres and thus safe from people looking in. The apartment offers 45 sqm with two single beds (that can be used as one double bed as well), a studio couch (that can be converted into a double bed), a small kitchen with dishwasher, a designer shower bath, a TV set, a stereo, balcony, and a parking area contiguous to the house. If desired you can rent a parking place in the subterranean garage as well.
A security firm takes care of the house at night.
